Deep within the Skatay Range resides a Viera tribe diffrent from the others, who cast none from their ranks and share their home with beings of the void. They're a closed community rarely interacted with, even with other Vieran tribes, and fiercely guarded by its inhabitants. How this arrangement began has long since been lost to the rains of time, but it's effects have more than shown themselves through the ages. Though somewhat uncommon, it is not rare for a child of the tribe to be touched by the void, born with a strange ability gifted from their voidsent clanmates. Lillin was one such member, gifted with the ability to change their appearance. They were young when they discovered this power, shifting a look that always remained them but diffrent. It was peaceful for a time.The smell of cinders and the image of smoke against a burning night sky are all Lillin really remembers when the Garleans attacked their home. They were young, that much they're certain of, but flashes of Viera and voidsent both falling at the hands of men clad in metal remain vivid in their mind. Only a handful of their fellow tribesmen managed to escape, fleeing across the sea to Thavnair. There, they settled with what was left of their kin, learning a new culture and way of life.Thavnair was a far cry from the snowy peaks Lillin had known, but as time went on they quickly became accustomed to the jungle heat and sea side chill. The vibrancy of their new home became a comfort and soon a familiarity. With the bustle of life, Lillin took to becoming an scholar wanting to learn all they could about the new world in which they lived. They grew an appreciation for the arts both in fashion and in performance, taking to learn how to dance. Eventually their studies took them to traveling the world.However, as the Seventh Umbral Calamity drew near, their travels halted in Gridania where they lent aid to the Conjurers Guild in helping the wounded and sick. After surviving the devastation they continued their efforts before eventually leaving the Guild to fordge their own path. Taking to traveling once more, they joined a dance troup harking back to their time in Thavnair and expressing their desire to bring a smile and hope to all they crossed paths with.☆—Work In Progress—☆
Conjurers Guild — As a former member of the Conjurers, Lillin has a vast knowledge of healing and communion with the elements of nature. They studied extensively durring their time with the guild and has an array of knowledge they still keep up with.
Dance Preformer — Traveling across the world, Lillin has built a up a large repertoire of dances from multiple cultures each with its own story to tell. If there's a dance to be learned you'll be sure that Lillin will take an instant interest.
Fashion Fancy — Lillin loves fashion and piecing together outfits. They're more than happy to talk shop when it comes to the latest and greatest trends around the world. Their love of culture also makes them more than eager to see whats hot in other regions.
Vieran Tribe background — Like many of their kind, Lillin hails from a tribe of Viera that once settled at the base of a snowy mountain forest. When they were very young, however, some of the tribe chose to leave their winter homeland and venture to the lands of Thavnair. Hunters and scholars, the tribe strived for knowledge and strength in equal measure, valuing both as fonts of power, as duality was an integral part of their culture.
Thavnair and Sharlyan — As a child, Lillin's tribe made a home of Thavnair for as long as she can remember, growing with the hustle and bustle of Radz-at-Han. When they were older they travelled to Sharlyan for a bit spending their time studying abroad, before eventually returning home.
Single Parent of One — Lillin isnt in any sort of relationship at the moment, yet they still manage to take care of their kid to the best of their ability! She absolutely loves talking about their daughter and is always so proud to do so. Though theu may joke that their kid can be a handful and a troublemaker, there isnt anything in all of Hydaelyn that they wouldn't do for their daughter.
The Language of Flowers — Though they may not hold weight in normal circumstances, Lillin loves the symbolism and meaning behind diffrent flowers and how they pair with one another. Bouquets rarely need any meaning than whats put in, they find the extra effort to be quite charming.
